Presentation of the class action

Mr. Pierre Robillard instituted a class action against Écoservices Tria Inc., Gestion Tria Inc., the Attorney general of Quebec in right of the Ministry of sustainable development, environment and action against climate change and the city of La Prairie.

The class action constitutes a demand for financial compensation based on allegations of odors, dust and noise which have been emitted for years by the landfill and the sorting center of construction or demolition debris operated by Écoservices Tria inc. and Gestion Tria inc.

The Ministry of sustainable development, environment and action against climate change and the city of La Prairie are also sued for their negligence to take all necessary measures to bring the nuisances to an end.
